"As a teacher myself, it's been my honor to work with Loretta
in our wonderful world of yoga. I am confident leaving my
own students in her hands and spirit. I have practiced with Loretta many times.
Her energy and lightheartedness in themselves are inspirational and contagious.
Just look in her eyes... they dance!"

Loretta: Thanks to you, yoga has become an
important part of my life. It has given me tremendous awareness
and connection, both physically and mentally. I always come away feeling energized but
relaxed.

Dear Loretta,
I read in the May 2004 Weill Medical College of Cornell University publication,
Food & Fitness Advisor, an article entitled, "Yoga--You're Never Too Old."
Specifically mentioned was information on the benefits of practicing yoga
exercises for women over 50 in order to improve posture, balance, flexibility
and relief from fatigue.
One exercise in particular is my favorite: "downward facing dog." How
I struggled with the move when I first became a regular participant in your class.
Today, after months of practice in your classes, I find muscles used for that
inverted pose have become so much stronger. When gardening, I can maintain length
in my spine while high on the balls of my feet, and with relaxed shoulders, neck,
knees, I have earned the agility to stretch downward across rocks, flowers, and weeds
without losing my balance.
Thank you for your expert and diligent instructions. I am happy that you are a
regular on the Power Shack teaching staff.

Special thanks to the lunch time yoga
group at Sterling Commerce.
All of these photos were taken in their company gym.
It has been a joy to teach them onsite since fall of 2002 to fall 2007. Loretta
